Breastfeeding/postpartum: The Marquette Method has specific protocols designed for postpartum and breastfeeding women to help identify ovulation - even before the return of your menstrual cycle. Marquette has a structured, monitor-based breastfeeding protocol, which many find simpler than mucus-only approaches during postpartum hormonal fluctuations.

Irregular cycles: Using Marquette additionally gives unique insight into irregular cycles, including PCOS. Because it measures hormonal biomarkers rather than relying on cycle length prediction alone, it offers objective insight even when cycles are long, delayed, or unpredictable. Individualized instruction and chart review are especially helpful in these cases.

The Marquette Method is fully compatible with women coming off hormonal birth control. I will guide you through the adjustment period so you can track your fertility accurately and confidently.

Our introductory sessions last about 1 hour, with optional follow-ups tailored to your questions and pace. Daily testing and tracking is brief: just a few minutes a day.

The introductory session is $100. You’ll also need the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, which costs about $150, and test sticks, which are $40–$50 each: both of these can be purchased with FSA/HSA funds. For women with regular cycles, sticks are typically purchased about 3 to 4 times per year, and more frequently for breastfeeding mothers.
